ACLT Parkers Creek/Double Oak (DO): Northern section trails (Double Oak Farm trailhead): From MD routes 2/4 in Prince Frederick, turn right on route 402 (Dares Beach Road) at light and proceed 2 miles east. Turn right onto Double Oak Road and drive 1 mile. Turn left onto the lane across from open field with the gate for CLT sign, drive a ways past house on left to designated parking. Trail maps are available at the parking lot.

ACLT PF2Bay Hunters Parking:  Drive from Dares Beach RD to Double Oak Road like going to CLT DO. About 1km down Double Oak you will see a green metal gate on the right, drive south down that trail about 1km until you get to the hunters parking area, or you see my Jeep. Drive on the rough road through puddles which cover hard surface, do not swerve around them into soft ground!!!!

Directions: From Prince Frederick – Follow Rt. 4 South.  Turn Left onto Parkers Creek Rd.  Turn right onto Scientists Cliff Rd. Turn left into parking

From Lexington Park – Follow Rt. 4 North.  Turn right onto Parkers Creek Rd.  Turn right onto Scientists Cliff Rd. Turn left into parking

Biscoe Gray Heritage Park (BG): Enter below approx address into Google maps to get close. The Calvert dog park is directly across the road from BG park, you will see a two BG entrance gates, one to the right and left from the dog park, the one next to the big Barn is the hunters parking infront of the metal gate, the other metal gate is to the horse parking area. We normally will now meet at the hunters/Barn area through the metal gate.

Address: 10025 HG Trueman Rd. Lusby, MD 20657 (Across the street)


Directions: From Prince Frederick – Follow Rt. 4 South.  Turn Left onto HG Trueman Rd.  Turn left into the hunter’s parking lot (dirt road), using the same entrance as Camp Conoy Rd.

From Lexington Park – Turn right onto Rt. 4 North.  Turn right onto Cove Point Rd.  At the first light make a left onto HG Trueman Rd.  Turn right into the hunter’s parking lot (dirt road), using the same entrance as Camp Conoy Rd.

Directions to parking at north end of Cedarville Pond.


Cedarville State Forest, 10201 Bee Oak Road, Brandywine, MD 20613.   Enter into your map for directions to Cedarville State Park MD (near Waldorf); from Cedarville Rd turn at the sign for Cedarville SP onto Bee Oak Drive; Proceed through Ranger station parking area without paying entrance fee; go 1km past Ranger station and take a right onto Forest Rd which is hard compacted dirt/gravel road safe even in the rain; Proceed 1.8 km down Forest Rd until you see the sign for Cedarville Pond parking, turn left and join us.

Directions: We will have our Dog Training sign on the street at the turn which is actually 17388 Teagues Point Rd seen on the post and there is a small white Maxwell Hall sign there also, drive all the way back past the gate, to the open pavilion next to the barn.

Enter 16000 Croom Airport Road Upper Marlboro, MD 20772. That will get you close to the marked with a sign Main Entrance of the Park with cement post and an iron swinging gate. Enter through gate and proceed up the entrance road toward the visitors center (with public restrooms)....but about half way to the visitors center, you will see us parked on the side of the road on the grass.  NOTE: If it is rainy or the grass is very wet, then we will park at the Visitors center main parking lot.

Go to Prince Frederick on route 4 and turn EAST on Dares Beach Road at the Safeway and Shell station intersection, continue past traffic circle and take a right onto Tobacco Ridge Rd. Continue to the end of the road at the county entry gate for PFWTF2.


Enter 625 Tobacco Ridge Rd, Prince Frederick, MD 20678 into car GPS takes you to the house next to the Entry Gate on the road; pass through the gate onto the county property
