 Calvert K-9 Search Team is a Maryland Search and Rescue Team, using highly trained search dogs to find lost and missing people.  Having met all the MD requirements and standards, we were accepted as part of the NRP/MSP led Maryland Search Team Task Force (MSTTF)

Requirements for new membership application shall be as follows:

A. Applicant must be a citizen of the United States of America.
B. Applicant must be a resident of the Southern Maryland area.
C. Applicant must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
D. Applicant must have no prior felony convictions or criminal convictions of any controlled substance laws.
E. All new members, after being accepted, must complete the minimum training requirements of NASAR SARTECH III certification and formal Red Cross (or equivalent) First Aid and CPR training within the probationary period of 6 months.
F. All Dogs must have proper and current immunizations for the safety of the dog. Puppies, to a maximum of 3 years old, can be evaluated for entry into training.
